As a nerd like me would say, “winter is coming.” It’s time for us to prepare for what lies ahead. My psychic predictions say that it will be a cold Mardi Gras, so in light of our current predicament, I’ve compiled a list of my top 5 winter shoes!

#5: Frye Parker Lace-Up Boots in Black

Frye is hands down one of the most well-known brands in shoes. Making amazing, beautiful, and not to mention durable shoes since 1863 is nothing shy of remarkable. The Parker Lace-Up Boots are no exception. With elegant lacing up the front plus a side zipper for easy on-and-off, and a sturdy yet graceful chunky heel, you could travel the world over in these boots.

My Styling Suggestions:

The Fontaine Coat Dress in Dark Blue Ribbed Rayon is one of the more breathtaking pieces Trashy Diva has produced, and I can’t think of a more perfect compliment to the Frye Parker Lace-Up Boots. You can also pick up one of our beautiful traveling train cases to complete the ensemble. You’re a world traveler now, darling!

#4: Chelsea Crew Gallery Heel in Mustard

Parties, playing pool or going to a parade – this shoe is great for any occasion. Its cut out vamp and feminine bow give the Gallery Heel just the right amount of sweetness. A stacked, sturdy heel and cute scalloping throughout finish off this unique look.

My Styling Suggestions:

The Sadie Ruffle Dress in Victory Floral has the most splendid color palette for this delightful mustard shoe. Add a charming little fascinator for that extra wow factor.

#3: Jeffrey Campbell Perouze Over the Knee Boot

This boot is first and foremost a statement piece. Its thick heel and over the knee, 100% vegan black suede body are sure to spark conversation wherever you may be headed. Whether you’re sipping a dry martini in style or wandering the French Quarter, these boots are an undeniable showstopper.

My Styling Suggestions:

The Bianca Dress in Leopard is the obvious winner for these boots! Throw on the black and leopard Magid Floppy Tie Hat and you’re all set! Okay sassy pants, go on with your bad self!

#2: Miss L Fire Merle Pump in Red and White

Personally, I find this shoe so charming. The amount of quirk and charisma are spot on! This shoe adds that bit of POP to any little black dress and also holds its own when styled with a pattern. Either way, these little darlings really jazz up any outfit.

My Styling Suggestions:

The 1940’s 3/4 Sleeve Dress in Forget Me Not Floral is just delightful with the shoes. Forget Me Not Floral paired with a shoe that has a floral rosette on the toe? What could be more perfectly divine?! Finish your look off with a pair of Fogal Elvin Tights in black and nude. Totally classic with a dash of fun! Separate yourself from the crowd with this retro-inspired look! And finally, without further adieu, my top pick for my favorite winter shoe! Drumroll, please…

#1 Re-Mix Cloche Heel in Navy

The Cloche Heel has captured my attention ever since I started working for Trashy Diva. It is by far one of my favorite shoes ever. The shape of the front paired with the thick contrasting heel has completely stolen my heart. Unique enough to turn heads yet versatile enough to look amazing with many things, the Cloche Heel is my absolute favorite shoe currently in store and online.

My Styling Suggestions:

The Eva Marie Dress in Red Ribbed Rayon. There is something so complimentary about the red and navy put together. The delicate beading on the Eva Marie looks perfect next to this shoe. It’s like they were made for each other! Complete the look with the Adora Asymmetrical Bow Fedora. This accessory is elegant and mysterious, just like you!

With these picks, you’re now officially ready to show winter what you’re made of!
