One of my favorite parts of my position as Public Relations Director at Trashy Diva is getting to select different charities to support. Whether it’s as simple as donating a dress for an auction that raises money for a good cause, or Trashy Diva sponsoring a certain event, it feels really good to be a part of something that makes a difference.
I would have to say that one of the most memorable events of 2015 that Trashy Diva has participated in would be the second annual Wine, Dine, and Design tablescape luncheon. Hosted by St. Charles Avenue magazine and held at the Audubon Tea Room, this event and its celebratory preview party benefitted Operation Home Front, which provides assistance of all kinds to veterans and their families.
More than 20 local retailers and designers participated, putting together an array of absolutely stunning tables to be sold for the luncheon. Ten of us divas had the opportunity to represent Trashy Diva at the luncheon, and I know that I can speak for us all when I say we had a blast! We all pitched in with planning our table, and we came out with a Picnic In The Woods theme.
I am happy to be part of Trashy Diva’s efforts to give back to the community, and I’m very much looking forward to what 2016 holds!
