WHO WORE WHAT: Trashy Diva x Preservation Hall

Facebook Twitter

It’s been a blast making music, sweet music, with Preservation Hall for our newest print! Featuring timeless motifs of New Orleans music and nightlife, including the iconic Preservation Hall drum, what better way to get to know the collection than with a few local noteworthy musicians? Ladies and gentleman, put your hands together for the who-wore-what of the Trashy Diva x Preservation Hall collaboration… (Drum roll please)

Give a warm welcome to the brand new Billie Dress! Sultry songstress, Amy (@amytrailsongs), put on the flamingo Ritz by Re-Mix with a matching Carved Bamboo Bangle for a noteworthy pop of pink playing up the neon sketches of the print— With an oversized hair flower, she looked like nothing but treble!

You might recognize this piano maven from the world famous Pat O’Brien’s where she plays the copper-covered keys of dueling pianos three nights a week— Hannah (@hannahbkb of @marinaorchestra) brought new life to an old fan-favorite in the Trixie Dress, a key piece for spring and summer, with a pair of shockingly yellow Re-Mix Stella heels and coordinating necklace (similar here)! Simply put, she’s a major babe.

Speaking of old favorites, the Doris Dress is back, and Gia (@ladygmonty of @marinaorchestra) could stop traffic in this flattering style! Luxulite’s Atomic Earrings (similar here) perfectly paired with the bright teal of Preservation Hall, and the Chelsea Crew Nadia heels are our favorite sandal to dance the night away— And did we mention Doris has pockets? We’ll have this dress on repeat all summer long!

Singing siren, Margie Perez, is striking in the summer-ready Josephine Dress! With her best foot forward in the teal Chelsea Crew Jojo heels, Margie jazzed up this breezy style with funky mismatched Music Note Earrings— Not that she’s any stranger to hitting all the right notes… Listen here.

We don’t want to toot our own horn, but Ashley Shabankareh (@shabonkabonk of @marinaorchestra) gets two jazz hands up in the Hollywood Top and 40’s Skirt! This Preservation Hall Foundation superstar styled her separates with the black croc Re-Mix Miranda heels and Luxulite’s Cherry Oval Hoops in classic New Orleans’ black and gold— For the grand finale, the Treble Clef Clutch and matching Preservation Hall hair tie!

Jump and jive on the agenda? Hop on the Streetcar Dress with the stunning Arsène (@arsenedelaymusic)! Twirl-worthy in breezy flat rayon with pockets to sweeten the deal, Arsène opted to keep the removable necktie for ultra-femme fashion and topped it all off with a sharp Wide Brim Hat (similar here) and complementing Wide Stripe Bangle.  Finally, no dance-ready outfit would be complete without Re-Mix— The jade green Emily heels are our top choice for toe-tapping!

If you haven’t slipped into separates yet for summer, Annie (@anniething__goes) will have you singing a new tune! While she knotted the new Nina Tie Top high to show off her midriff, you’ll find a longer, less-cropped length, ending right at the natural waist for most for a looser, more casual fit— Paired with the High-Waist Shorts, she was ready to rock and roll with a chic summer hat (similar here) and assorted Zenzii accoutrements, like the Beaded Hoop Earrings. What a Diva!

Calvin (@calvin_johnson) has real sax appeal in the Fred Shirt— Literally. Lightweight flat rayon makes this retro-inspired men’s shirt perfect for mixing and matching this summer and a perfect gift idea for Father’s Day! Shop the shirt and take Dad for a night out on the town— Check out Preservation Hall All-Star Calvin’s upcoming shows here.

Did we mention this collection is Sweets-the-cat-approved? Well, sort of.
