Today I’d like to introduce you to one of our loyal stockists, Mondo Kaos, and its owner, Ditte!

Tell us about your shop! Where is it located and how long have you been in business?
My shop is located in Denmark’s capital, Copenhagen. I opened the shop 8 years ago, and started the online shop a year after. Mondo Kaos stocks 1940s and 1950s inspired clothing, shoes, lingerie, and accessories.

When and how did you first find out about Trashy Diva? How long have you been a stockist?
I think I found the Trashy Diva line a few years ago on Instagram. I’ve been stocking the line since February 2014.

What are your top 3 favorite Trashy Diva dress styles of all time?
1. The 1940s Dress
2. The Ashley Dress
3. The Streetcar Dress

What is your favorite Trashy Diva style in your shop right now?
My personal favorite right now is the Trixie Top. The elastic sides make it the perfect crop top and it’s great to pair with high-waisted skirts or pants for the perfect retro look. Older styles I loved were the Peacock Lilian and Maria Dress in black. These were both so beautiful and it would be great to have them back!

When you’re not working, what do you like to do in your free time?
In spring and summer, I love spending time with my 7-year-old son Charlie at our summerhouse a little outside of Copenhagen. It’s so nice to get away from the city and just relax. I also love to go to concerts and festivals with rockabilly music and dancing. Last summer, we had so much fun at the High Rockabilly in Spain, but unfortunately it is not happening this year – we need to find another one to go to! I’m looking forward to attending my first Viva Las Vegas next year – it’s about time!

Mondo Kaos stocks recent styles like the Streetcar Dress in Irish Polka and Cherries as well as many discontinued gems! Check out their Trashy Diva selection online or at their storefront at Birkegade 1 in the Nørrebro district of Copenhagen.
