Summer in New Orleans is hot! And by hot, I mean BRUTALLY hot. There’s nothing better than jumping into a pool a cold, refreshing water during these muggy, tropical days. Trashy Diva’s fantastic retro swimwear will keep you looking super stylish as you stay cool this summer. Here are my top three swimwear picks:

1. I am absolutely in love with the Cherry Pie two-piece by Lucy B.  What says summertime more than cherries and gingham? The print is adorable and is perfect for a cute pin-up look. This swimsuit is just plain cheerful!  Wearing it makes me smile. Complete your sweet pin-up girl look with the Retro Flower Cluster Sunglasses and some cherry hair pins and you’ll be looking sweet as pie!

2. Lucy B’s Denim Doll two-piece swimsuit is another favorite of mine. The look of denim with little flower details creates the perfect country girl style. I imagine wearing this beauty while swimming in a pretty little lake surrounded by wildflowers. Romantic country roads and summertime star-gazing after your dip in the lake complete the vision this sweet swimsuit conjures up. Pair with the Magid Woven Bow Wide Brim Hat in periwinkle blue and the AJ Morgan Caio Sunglasses in white, and you’ll be a country cutie no one can resist!

3. Last, but not least, is the Clementine swimsuit by Fables. This swimsuit is classy and FUN! The print is straight out of a 1950’s tropical dream. Look glamorous sitting poolside, tropical drink in hand, surrounded by palm trees while wearing this little number. To really play up the retro glamour, pair with the San Diego Crosses Sun Hat, AJ Morgan Casablanca shades, and maybe even some red lipstick and high heels.
